Dieter Weiss founded WEISS KG in Neckarweihingen near Ludwigsburg, Germany in 1967. Right from the outset he was determined to go his own way.
His motto was not to follow the crowd and produce a similar product, but to be a step ahead with a new one.
FREELY PROGRAMMABLE INDEXERS
The new products from WEISS are characterized by a whole new machine concept and design approach, allowing flexible use. All components are freely programmable and represent sound solutions for re-engineering. And commissioning costs are also kept to a minimum through use of an end-to-end control software (WAS) with uniform user interface.
FIXED-STATION INDEXERS
For 50 years, WEISS has been consistently striving for rotary table solutions that are both robust and reliable - with the TC / TR we have succeeded.
LINEAR SYSTEM
The advantages of the LS280 and its extremely high productivity result from a completely new, elegant operating principle. It combines a rotary indexing table with a transfer system, i.e. a cam drive and belt system. This leads to a radical reduction of transport times and absolutely jerk-free and jolt-free motion sequences - at up to 60 cycles/minute.
HANDLING SYSTEMS
The operating principle of WEISS handling components is based on an electronic direct drive or electromechanical drive. These contemporary concepts represent dynamic performance, reliability and energy efficiency.
SOFTWARE
A highly intuitive and uniform graphic user interface used throughout all freely programmable WEISS products. For faster set-up and smooth operation: WEISS Application Software (W.A.S.).
